The Farm Experience

This summer, FarmWays is four - and to ring in a new name and a new season, we welcome you to southern New England's hub for farm destinations and the farm experience.

Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts attractions are all within a days travel for more than thirty million people. You already visit our villages, towns and cities for all kinds of reasons in every season. This summer, come and enjoy the all-in-one experience of the beauty, history, culture and majesty of our farmsteads, wineries, nature sites and nurseries.

FarmWays features family farms and other special places that host visitors and where there's much to enjoy. Taste the grapes at a coastal vineyard; spend the night at a B&B Just north of Hartford, have breakfast above the fields, and then pick your own berries to take home.

Explore historic settlements and marvel at water and earthen gardens that ring a former dairy farm. In a sweet spot in the Northeast corner of Connecticut you can take an herb class, explore a corn maze or tour a working dairy farm. Soothe the body, mind and soul on a sensory sojourn; dine at a sumptuous Feast in the Field.

A southern NE farm is helping protect the world's food supply by preserving rare and endangered breeds of livestock. Other animals from the barnyard variety to exotic species await you. Love the sea, southern Connecticut and the
Newport and South Counties of Rhode Island to Cape Cod boast many agricultural and horticultural treasures, some right along the roadways and waterways you'll travel heading north and south

New England FarmWays is local farms, local food and greenery – and local places that will take your breath away.
