Since 1908, The Rose Family has been farming in South Glastonbury. This year we are celebrating 101 years of growing by continuing to produce the finest berries in Connecticut on over 100 acres. We offer you the freshest produce, homemade treats, and a taste of the country each time you visit. We invite you and your whole family to share our plentiful bounty each and every season.
Follow RT 91 North or South to exit 25, RT 3 north. Follow RT 3 N across the river. At the end of the bridge get on RT 2 East. Immediately get in the left hand lane for left-hand exit 7. This is RT 17 South. Follow 17S for about 4 miles. At the 3rd traffic light, take a left onto Hopewell Road. Follow for about a mile to the first stop sign. Take a right onto Matson Hill Rd. We are at top of the hill on the left, about ¾ mile.
From Route 2 West:
Take exit 10. At the end of the exit take a left and proceed to the stop sign. Take a right onto New London Tpke. Follow to the first stop light. Take a left onto Chestnut Hill Rd.
At the first stop sign, take a left onto Hopewell Rd. Follow Hopewell through the next stop sign, and at the 2nd stop sign take a hard left onto Matson Hill Rd.
We are at top of the hill on the left, about ¾ mile.
From Route 2 East:
Take left hand exit 7. This is RT 17 South. Follow 17S for about 4 miles. At the 3rd traffic light, take a left onto Hopewell Road. Follow for about a mile to the first stop sign. Take a right onto Matson Hill Rd. We are at top of the hill on the left, about ¾
mile.
From Route 17 North (from Middletown CT)
Follow RT 66 East across the Argoni Bridge. At the stop light in Portland, follow RT 17A North. When you come to the 4 corners stop, take a left onto RT 17 North.
Follow for about 6 miles towards South Glastonbury. Before entering South Glastonbury, take a left onto Foote Rd. Follow Foote Rd to the end. Take a right onto Matson Hill Rd.
