Join beekeeper, Normand Peloquin, and learn about such topics as the history of the honeybee in North America, the life cycle of the honeybee, how a honeybee colony functions, why beekeepers assist in pollination, and various roles of the honeybee in agriculture and the environment.
A demonstration hive is used to experience how beekeeping equipment is used and what the inner workings of a beehive are all about.
Watch the bees as they work in a fully enclosed, safe, observation hive. Learn a few bee dances!
